What Happens After A Tooth Is Extracted
After a tooth is extracted neighbouring teeth may shift into the open space. This may cause problems with your chewing ability or your bite (which may lead to jaw discomfort). The risk of periodontal (gum) disease and decay increases because of the position of the shifted tooth (the tooth becomes more difficult to clean).
